Profile - Dr. Daniel Bechtel

Dr. Bechtel received a B.S.A. in organic chemistry and food science and followed-up with a M.Sc. in analytical and environmental toxicology. After extensive work history in management, sales, regulatory affairs and risk assessment, Daniel completed a Ph.D. in immunotoxicology in the Toxicology Centre at the University of Saskatchewan. His research focused on air contaminants released from the oil and gas production industry and associaitons on immune system function. Upon completion Dr. Bechtel has provided clients successful scientific leadership and regulatory guidance in the navigation of the Health Canada regulatory environment.  This is accomplished through diligent study development, environmental monitoring, and rationalization of database materials that address human and environmental health concerns. Clients further benefit  from his knowledge and guidance in toxicology, chemistry, risk assessment and compliance with globally recognized GLP and GCP guidelines. Research interests include, investigation of immunostimulation and burn repair by natural compounds and immune response associations from respiratory exposure to environmental elements. List of Publications and Abstracts.
